Night out car service begins at the house or the hotel, drops you at the restaurant entrance and ends back at the door at whatever hour the evening finishes. In between, the chauffeur stays within a few minutes of where you are and is outside when you send a text.

2. Approve the Written Price
You receive one written price and a confirmation with the pickup time and the vehicle. Approve it or forward it to the person hosting. The chauffeur's name and the number to text during the evening follow about 6 to 8 hours before pickup.
3. Text When You Are Ready
The chauffeur arrives ahead of the pickup time, drops you at the door and stays close. When the evening ends, send a text; the car is at the entrance within minutes, and the ride home is quiet.

Does the chauffeur wait during dinner, or come back later?
Either, depending on how you book. On an hourly reservation the chauffeur stays with the car near the restaurant for the whole evening and is outside within minutes of your text. On a point-to-point reservation the chauffeur drops you and returns at the time you set; if dinner runs long, text the chauffeur's number and the pickup moves. Hourly as-directed service is the better choice for an evening with more than one stop.
How late can we book the ride home?
As late as the evening runs. East End Lux operates twenty-four hours a day, so a pickup at 1:00 a.m. in Montauk or 2:00 a.m. in Manhattan is an ordinary reservation. For the latest hours, book in advance rather than calling on the night; the chauffeur is assigned ahead of time, and the name and number to text reach you about 6 to 8 hours before pickup.
Can we add a stop during the evening?
Yes, on an hourly reservation. Tell the chauffeur in person or by text, and the car goes to the next address: a bar after dinner, a friend's house on the way home, a late stop for something forgotten. On a point-to-point reservation, a short extra stop can usually be accommodated; mention it when you request the quote and it is written into the plan.
Is this a black car service for a night in Manhattan, too?
Yes. A night out car service in the city works the same way: pickup at the apartment or hotel, the restaurant, the theater or the event, and the return. The car waits where it can near the venue, and the chauffeur texts the exact pickup spot when the show ends. For a round trip from the Hamptons to Manhattan and back the same night, book by the hour.
Can we leave coats or bags in the car?
Yes. On an hourly reservation the car and the chauffeur stay together all evening, so coats, bags, a change of shoes or a purchase can be left in the locked car between stops. On a point-to-point reservation, take what you need; the car will not be there during dinner.
