Airport Routes
The Belt Parkway from Bay Ridge and the south shore neighborhoods to JFK; the BQE to the Van Wyck or Grand Central from the north. LaGuardia is the BQE to the Grand Central Parkway. Morning rush on the BQE is the main variable; we pad for it.
Out to the Island
BQE to the Long Island Expressway, or the Belt to the Southern State. From Williamsburg or Greenpoint the LIE is closest; from Bay Ridge the Belt is. Southampton is about two to two and a half hours outside of traffic; East Hampton about two and a half to three.
