Southold Car Service to the Airports and the City
Southold is a hamlet in the Town of Southold on the North Fork, between Peconic and Greenport. Main Road (Route 25) runs through the center; Route 48 runs parallel to the north, closer to Long Island Sound, where Horton Point Lighthouse stands at the end of Lighthouse Road. Vineyards and farm stands line both roads to the west.
Southold on Main Road and Route 48
Route 25 is the slower road, through the hamlet center and past the vineyards; Route 48 to the north moves faster. Trips west usually take Route 48 to Riverhead and the Long Island Expressway.

Toward the Ferries
Greenport, with the North Ferry to Shelter Island, is about ten minutes east. The Cross Sound Ferry to New London leaves from Orient Point at the end of Route 25.

Do you meet trains at the Southold station?
Yes. The Southold LIRR station is on Youngs Avenue, just north of Main Road. Send us the train you are on and the chauffeur meets you at the platform, takes the bags and drives you to the house, the vineyard or the restaurant. Greenport and Mattituck stations are also close if your train ends there.
How far is Southold from a private aviation airport?
Gabreski Airport (FOK), north of Westhampton Beach, is about 45 to 55 minutes outside of traffic. Long Island MacArthur (ISP) in Islip is about an hour to an hour and a quarter. Tell us the landing time and the FBO, and the chauffeur is waiting there with the car when you arrive.
