HPN Car Service: How the Pickup Works
For a private arrival, tell us the FBO, the tail number or operator, and the estimated time. Signature and Atlantic each run more than one facility at HPN, so the exact terminal name matters. The chauffeur waits in the lobby, and where the FBO permits and your operator has arranged it, the SUV is escorted planeside and the luggage is loaded at the aircraft. For an airline arrival, the airport's single terminal keeps things simple: we track the flight and the chauffeur meets you at baggage claim with a sign, or at the curb if you have carry-on only.

Times are outside of traffic. Summer Fridays eastbound and Sundays westbound run longer; the pickup time in your confirmation allows for it.

Before You Fly Through HPN
Private or Airline, Say Which
HPN has both. The booking needs either the FBO name or the airline and flight number, because the two sides of the airport have different roads and different doors.
Two Signatures, Two Atlantics
Both operators have more than one facility on the field. Ask your flight department for the exact terminal and put it in the booking.
Greenwich and the Sound Shore
HPN is the natural airport for a Greenwich or Rye pickup on the way to the Hamptons. One chauffeur, one car, one written price for the whole route.
Overnight Quiet Hours
The airport asks operators to avoid flights between midnight and early morning. Operators who must land in those hours often choose Teterboro; tell us where you are filed.

Westchester County Airport sits a few miles northeast of White Plains, in the towns of North Castle and Harrison and the village of Rye Brook, with the Connecticut line along its eastern edge. It is a hybrid: a county-owned airport with a modest airline terminal and a large private aviation side served by Signature, Atlantic Aviation and Million Air among others. Flight departments like it for its position between Manhattan, Greenwich and the northern suburbs, and for slots that are easier to find than Teterboro's.
From the Hamptons, HPN is reached by crossing to the mainland over the Throgs Neck or Whitestone Bridge and heading north on the Hutchinson River Parkway or I-684. It is 2½ to 3 hours from Southampton outside of traffic, and it is a ride where the right car matters: a new, meticulously maintained luxury SUV, a chauffeur in a suit, and no changes of vehicle between a jet in Westchester and a house in Sagaponack.
We meet private arrivals in the FBO lobby and airline arrivals at baggage claim, and we price the transfer in writing before it is confirmed. The airport asks operators to observe a voluntary overnight quiet period, so most arrivals fall in daytime and evening; we are available 24 hours regardless.
Departures to HPN from the Hamptons are planned from your requested arrival at the FBO, or from the airline's check-in window, plus the drive. The chauffeur collects you and the luggage at the house and crosses to Westchester by the Expressway, the Throgs Neck and the Hutchinson River Parkway, or by I-95 and I-287 when the parkway is slow. We confirm the time in writing. From Manhattan the drive is forty-five minutes to an hour outside of traffic; from Greenwich, fifteen to twenty.

How early should I leave the Hamptons for a flight from Westchester?
For a private departure, add 2½ to 3 hours from Southampton outside of traffic to your requested arrival at the FBO. For an airline flight, be at the terminal ninety minutes ahead and add the same drive. East Hampton adds about half an hour. We propose a time when you book, in writing, and adjust if the plan changes.
Does Westchester handle international arrivals?
Private international flights can clear US Customs at HPN when the operator arranges it in advance, and the chauffeur waits in the FBO lobby during the inspection. Airline service is mainly domestic, with a few flights that pre-clear before departure. Tell us which applies and we allow the time.
Where will the chauffeur meet me at HPN?
For a private flight, in the lobby of the FBO terminal you name, before the aircraft lands, and planeside where the FBO permits. For an airline flight, at baggage claim in the terminal with a sign, or at the arrivals curb if you prefer. Either way the chauffeur texts you as you land.
How much luggage fits for the drive to the Hamptons?
A luxury SUV carries four passengers with a large case and a carry-on each comfortably. For a full private cabin of six or seven with luggage, two cars are the right call, and we will say so in the written quote. For larger groups we arrange a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, a shuttle or a coach. Golf bags, strollers and oversized items should be mentioned when you book.
