Aquebogue is a hamlet in the Town of Riverhead, just east of downtown Riverhead, where the North Fork wine region begins. Route 25, Main Road, runs through it toward Jamesport, and Sound Avenue, a state-designated scenic road, crosses the farms to the north. Vineyards, farm stands and open fields line both roads.
Main Road and Sound Avenue
Route 25, Main Road, is the hamlet’s main street and runs east to Jamesport. Sound Avenue runs parallel to the north through the farms. Both are two-lane roads through farmland.

About an hour and a half to an hour and three quarters outside of traffic, west on Route 25 to the end of the Long Island Expressway, then to the Van Wyck. LaGuardia is similar. For a 7 a.m. flight we usually collect around 4:30 a.m., and earlier on a harvest or summer weekend.
Is there a train station in Aquebogue?
No. Aquebogue has no LIRR station today. Riverhead station, on Osborne Avenue a few minutes west, is the nearest. We meet trains there and drive guests on to the house or the vineyards, or take them to Manhattan by car instead.
Can you meet a private flight at Gabreski?
Yes. Gabreski (FOK) in Westhampton is about 20 to 30 minutes from Aquebogue, through Riverhead and Riverside. You give us the arrival time, the chauffeur waits at the FBO, the private terminal at the airport, and handles the bags. Long Island MacArthur (ISP) is about 40 to 50 minutes.
