Jamesport Car Service to the Airports and the City
Jamesport is a hamlet in the Town of Riverhead on the North Fork, between Aquebogue to the west and Laurel to the east. Route 25, Main Road, runs through the center, and South Jamesport lies on Peconic Bay. Sound Avenue crosses the farms to the north, with Northville beyond.
Main Road Through the Hamlet
Route 25 is Jamesport’s main street, past the Meeting House in the center. West it leads to Aquebogue, Riverhead and the expressway; east to Laurel and Mattituck. Sound Avenue is the parallel road to the north.

The Nearest Train
Jamesport has no LIRR station today. Riverhead, about 10 minutes west, and Mattituck, a few minutes east, are the nearest stations, and we meet trains at either.
Fall Weekends
Harvest weekends in September and October are the busiest of the year on Main Road and Sound Avenue. We set pickup times with margin and allow extra time for the run back to the expressway.

How long is Jamesport to JFK?
About an hour and a half to two hours outside of traffic, west on Route 25 to the end of the Long Island Expressway, then to the Van Wyck. LaGuardia is similar. For a 7 a.m. flight we usually collect around 4:15 a.m.; on a harvest or summer weekend we add time and tell you when we confirm.
Does Jamesport have a train station?
No. Jamesport has no LIRR station today. Riverhead station is about 10 minutes west and Mattituck a few minutes east. We meet trains at either, handle the bags, and drive guests to the house, the bay in South Jamesport or a vineyard.
Can we book a chauffeur by the hour for the vineyards?
Yes. From Jamesport a day can take in the vineyards along Main Road and Sound Avenue, lunch and dinner, with the chauffeur waiting at each stop. Hourly as-directed service has a four-hour minimum for sedans and SUVs and six hours for Sprinters, buses and coaches, and the price is confirmed in writing first.
Can you meet a private flight at Gabreski or MacArthur for Jamesport?
Yes. Gabreski (FOK) in Westhampton is about 25 to 35 minutes from Jamesport, and Long Island MacArthur (ISP) in Islip about 40 to 50 minutes. You give us the arrival time, the chauffeur waits at the FBO, the private terminal at the airport, and handles the bags.
