LGA Car Service: How the Pickup Works
Most airlines use Terminal B; Delta uses Terminal C. Terminal A, the old Marine Air Terminal, now serves private aviation. Give us the flight number and we work out the rest. The chauffeur meets you inside at baggage claim, or at the arrivals curb of your terminal if you have carry-on only and ask for it. Because the curb layout has changed several times during the rebuild, the chauffeur texts you the exact door and lane as you walk out, so you are never guessing between levels.

LaGuardia is the airport for the short hops: Boston, Washington, Chicago, Florida, the shuttle. The terminals were rebuilt from the ground up, and the result is a far better building with a more complicated front door. Pickup lanes, garages and ride-share lots are not where they used to be, and the arrivals curb moves with construction. A LaGuardia car service that knows the current layout saves you the ten minutes of texting that ends most airport rides.
We send a new, meticulously maintained luxury SUV and a chauffeur in a suit, and we track the flight so the car is in position when you land. From the Hamptons, LaGuardia sits on the near side of the city, which makes it a slightly shorter drive than JFK on most days, though the Grand Central Parkway has its own moods. Every ride is priced in writing before it is confirmed.
Round trips are common here. A Tuesday morning flight out and a Thursday evening flight back can be booked together, with the same chauffeur where the schedule allows. Service is 24 hours; the 6 a.m. departure to Washington means a 3:30 a.m. pickup from East Hampton, and that is a booking we take without comment.
For departures, LaGuardia's domestic schedule means shorter check-in windows than JFK, but security at Terminal B on a Monday morning can still take forty minutes. We suggest a pickup time with that in mind, confirm it in writing, and drop you at your terminal's departures level. If you are checking bags, the chauffeur unloads them at the curb; the skycap stands are steps away.

When should I be picked up for a morning LaGuardia flight?
For a domestic departure, plan to reach the terminal ninety minutes to two hours ahead, then add the drive: 2 to 2½ hours from Southampton outside of traffic, and the morning rush into Queens begins before 7 a.m. For an 8 a.m. flight that usually means leaving the Hamptons around 4 a.m. We will propose a time and confirm it in writing.
Does LaGuardia have international arrivals with customs?
Only a few, mostly from Canada and the Caribbean, and those are typically pre-cleared before departure, so you walk out like a domestic passenger. If your flight does clear customs on arrival, tell us and we allow the extra time. Either way we track the flight and the chauffeur is at baggage claim when you come through.
Where does the chauffeur meet me at LaGuardia?
At baggage claim inside your terminal, with a sign, unless you ask for the curb. The rebuilt terminals have changed the pickup lanes more than once, so the chauffeur texts you the specific door and level as you walk out. You will not be left reading signs on a sidewalk.
We are a family of five with luggage. Will one SUV do?
It depends on the luggage. A stroller, golf clubs or a second large case per person fill a luxury SUV quickly. Tell us what you are traveling with and we will say plainly whether one car is right or two are needed. For larger groups we arrange a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, a shuttle or a coach.
Can you have a child seat ready for the drive back to the Hamptons?
Yes. We provide and install child safety seats on request; tell us the child's age and weight when you book. Parents confirm the seat is properly installed before the car leaves LaGuardia.
