Local notes
Queens Car Service to JFK, LaGuardia and the Hamptons
Queens holds both of New York City's airports. JFK is in Jamaica on the south side of the borough, served by the Van Wyck Expressway and the Belt Parkway; LaGuardia is in East Elmhurst on the north side, on the Grand Central Parkway. The Long Island Expressway runs across the middle from the Queens-Midtown Tunnel to Nassau County, which makes Queens the hinge between Manhattan, the airports and the Island. Astoria and Long Island City face Manhattan across the river; Forest Hills and Flushing sit in the center; Bayside and Douglaston are at the Nassau line.
Two Airports, Two Parkways
JFK sits off the Van Wyck and the Belt Parkway in Jamaica; LaGuardia sits off the Grand Central Parkway in East Elmhurst. The Van Wyck is the single most congested stretch in the borough on weekday afternoons; we route around it when the Belt or the Nassau Expressway is moving.
Into Manhattan
The Queens-Midtown Tunnel carries the LIE straight into the East Thirties; the Queensboro Bridge lands in the East Fifties and is toll-free; the Triborough reaches the Upper East Side and Harlem. The chauffeur picks by destination and live conditions.
Out to the Hamptons
The LIE east to Exit 70 and Sunrise Highway is the standard route; the Southern State and Sunrise Highway from southern Queens is the alternative. Southampton is about one and three quarter to two and a quarter hours outside of traffic; East Hampton about two and a quarter to two and three quarters.

Questions
Queens Car Service Questions
Do you meet arriving flights at JFK and LaGuardia?
Yes. We track the flight, and the chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall with a name card or at the designated pickup area, whichever you prefer. Luggage goes in the back of the SUV and the ride continues to Queens, Manhattan, Long Island or the Hamptons. Waiting time after landing is built into the written quote.
How long is a ride from Queens to the Hamptons?
From the LIE corridor, Southampton is about one and three quarter to two and a quarter hours outside of traffic and East Hampton about two and a quarter to two and three quarters. From JFK the figures are similar. Summer Friday afternoons can add an hour or more; we advise on timing when you book.
Can you take us from Astoria or Long Island City to JFK?
Yes. From the western neighborhoods JFK is about 25 to 40 minutes outside of traffic via the BQE or the Grand Central and the Van Wyck; LaGuardia is 10 to 20. For a weekday afternoon flight we allow more, because the Van Wyck is unpredictable. The chauffeur texts when the car is at the door.
Do you serve Flushing, Forest Hills and Bayside?
Yes, the whole borough. Forest Hills and Flushing are 15 to 30 minutes to either airport; Bayside and Douglaston are 20 to 35 to JFK and 20 to 30 to LaGuardia, and closest to the Island for Hamptons runs. Tell us the address and the time and we confirm in writing.
Is there a private airport near Queens?
Republic Airport (FRG) in Farmingdale is 35 to 55 minutes east on the LIE or Southern State; Teterboro (TEB) in New Jersey is about 45 minutes to an hour across Manhattan; Westchester County Airport (HPN) in White Plains is 35 to 55 minutes north over the Whitestone or Throgs Neck Bridge. We meet aircraft at the FBO at each.
