Sagaponack Car Service to the Airports and the City
Sagaponack is a small village in the Town of Southampton, incorporated in 2005, between Bridgehampton and Wainscott. It is open farm fields from Montauk Highway to the ocean, with Sagg Main Street running down to the beach, Daniels Lane along the dunes and Sagaponack Pond to the west. There is no commercial center to speak of; the general store, the farm stands and the vineyards on the edge of the village are it, and the houses sit far apart behind hedges.
Lanes, Not Streets
Sagg Main Street, Sagg Road, Daniels Lane, Parsonage Lane and Townline Road are the grid. Many addresses sit at the end of long gravel drives; send the gate code or the name on the post and the chauffeur arrives without a phone call.
Pickup Spots
The general store on Sagg Main, the Sagg Main beach lot, the vineyard tasting room on the edge of the village, the Bridgehampton LIRR station five minutes west, and the East Hampton station about 15 minutes east.
Traffic Reality
Sagaponack has no stoplight and no through traffic of its own, but every trip joins Montauk Highway at Bridgehampton or Wainscott. In August that joint can take ten minutes on its own. We allow for it when we set the pickup time.
Beach Days
Sagg Main Beach is at the foot of Sagg Main Street and is the village beach. Parking is limited and permit-controlled in season, which is one more reason guests arrive by car with a chauffeur who drops at the lot, waits nearby and returns when called.
