Bridgehampton Car Service to the Airports and the City
Bridgehampton sits at the midpoint of the South Fork, where Main Street on Montauk Highway meets the Turnpike north to Sag Harbor and Ocean Road south to the beach. It is the hamlet of farm stands and horse fields, home of the Hampton Classic Horse Show at the end of August, with the Bridgehampton Commons at its western edge and the LIRR station a block north of Main Street. Water Mill lies to the west, Sagaponack and Wainscott to the east, and most of the East End is within fifteen minutes.
The Crossroads
Montauk Highway (Route 27) east–west, the Bridgehampton–Sag Harbor Turnpike north, Ocean Road south. Scuttle Hole Road and the back roads north of the highway are the chauffeur's escape when Main Street is at a standstill in August.
Pickup Spots
The Bridgehampton LIRR station on Maple Lane, Main Street at the Candy Kitchen corner, the Commons, the Hampton Classic showgrounds on Snake Hollow Road during the show, and the Ocean Road beach lot. For a farm or estate down a long drive, send the gate code with the booking.
Classic Week
The Hampton Classic runs the last week of August into Labor Day weekend. Snake Hollow Road and Montauk Highway around it move slowly all day; we plan showground pickups and drop-offs with margin and pre-agree a meeting point.

From Main Street, Sag Harbor is about 15 minutes north on the Turnpike, Southampton Village about 15 minutes west, East Hampton Village about 15 minutes east. Hourly service from a Bridgehampton house reaches most of the East End in a single short leg.

How far is Bridgehampton from East Hampton Airport?
About 10 to 15 minutes. HTO is in Wainscott, the next hamlet east, off Daniels Hole Road. We wait at the FBO, track the tail number and have the car ready when the aircraft taxis in. It is the shortest airport ride on the East End.

About two and a quarter to two and three quarter hours outside of traffic, west on Route 27 and County Road 39 to Sunrise Highway, then the expressways to the Van Wyck. Early morning departures run to the quick end; summer Sunday afternoons run well past the slow end.
