Peconic Car Service to the Airports and the City
Peconic is a small hamlet in the Town of Southold, between Cutchogue to the west and Southold to the east. Route 25 (Main Road) and Route 48 cross it from end to end, with Goldsmith’s Inlet on Long Island Sound to the north and the bays to the south. It is mostly farmland, vineyards and homes between the two main roads.

Both cross Peconic east to west: Route 25 (Main Road) past the vineyards and farm stands, Route 48 nearer the Sound. Trips west run through Cutchogue and Mattituck to Riverhead and the Long Island Expressway.
The Nearest Train
Peconic has no station today. Southold, a few minutes east, and Mattituck, about 10 minutes west, are both on the LIRR Main Line; we meet trains at either and follow the arrival.

Which train station is closest to Peconic?

How far is Peconic from Gabreski Airport?
About 40 to 50 minutes, west through Riverhead and south to Westhampton. FOK is a private aviation airport, and the chauffeur meets you at the FBO at the pickup time you give us. For commercial flights, MacArthur (ISP) in Islip is about an hour to an hour and a quarter away.
